I Must be Sucked In

So you can tell what I have been up to when these are the two things I purchased at Amazon.

I love, love, love The Real Housewives of New Jersey for so many reasons. The food that Teresa (a housewife) makes always looks great so I figured I couldn't resist. Plus I saw this in Barnes & Noble over the weekend and flipped through it. I was really surprised that it looked so legit.

I also enjoy Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, although they are not as guilty of a pleasure as The Housewives. I needed a quick read and heard her writing was pretty cute. I will review both books once I am done with them. On a side note, I don't watch that much reality t.v. I don't let myself get into American Idol, Dancing with the Stars or The Bachelor. I did when when the shows were new but now I stick to the hard stuff, like those above.

I did buy Corduroy for Miss S too.

You Spin Me Round....

I took Miss S to JC Penney on Saturday to get her 18 month pics taken. The last time we had some taken they were done by a professional. They were FABULOUS but much more expensive than the ol' white back drop deal. So I figured I should alternate between fancy and cheap. Although after my experience on Saturday, I don't want to go the cheap route again. Honestly, I almost smacked the JCP photographer about 3 times for being a total BITCH to me. Won't ever go back there. Period. Oh, and one shot somewhat turned out. I think Miss S is like, half smiling.

I have continued to feel like garbage for the last week. After Miss S is in bed I just crash on the couch with NO energy. I just feel like I am spinning around and around. I finally made an appt. for the doctor tomorrow. Hubbs has no sympathy for me since I have neglected getting to the doctor as I would be totally agravated with him if he had done the same.

Energize This

I have been running on limited energy lately. I’ve noticed being really tired whenever I do any sort of activity, it doesn’t have to be physical. I am kind of out of shape, I would like my ass to be a bit more taut, but overall, I think I look pretty good for relying on chasing my toddler around as my main source of exercise. I am trying to get back into pilates, which I really do enjoy.

I just never remember being this wiped consistently. What is really kind of strange is that I am not stressed either. I have been really good lately in not letting things get to me (except for my pre-Mother’s Day anger). I don’t know if I am anemic, dehydrated or what. Another thing that is going on concurrently to my lack of energy is headaches. Pretty much for the last two weeks I have had headaches every day. Not migraines, but just annoying, energy suckers. Those mofos.

I am thinking about trying to be better at doing my pilates DVD’s and drinking more water. I hate this feeling and I want to get my energy back.

18 Months

Today you are 18 months old. I can not believe my little and spunky baby is now a year and a half! Where did the time go? You are such a wonderful and beautiful girl who never ceases to amaze me with the things you say and do.

You recently have started speaking in sentences; and will repeat commands to the dog that your dad and I bark out (no pun intended). You know when you have “pee-pee’d” in your diaper and I think you are only a few weeks away from potty training.

One of the most favorite things I like to do with you is read books. However, I prefer when you read them to me. I can’t really get what you might be saying but you deliver each sentence as though you are a conductor in front of an orchestra.

We dance together to Snow White. You throw your hands in the air and twirl during certain softer songs and I am really starting to see the Ballerina in you. During the “Work, Work, Work” song from Cinderella, you giggle when you hear the mice talking.

The fact that you are always on the go in a near sprint has caused many scrapes and bruises recently. The other day I counted five different “owies”, each of them you were never fazed when they occurred. You are so tough and make your playmates look like little wussies !

I cherish each and every moment I get to spend with you. I live for you and I love our little mommy-daughter connection. You are my girl.
