The Family Vacation
We're back from a week full of overeating, swearing too much, sleeping in, frizzy hair, DQ ice cream cones, bickering, overeating, loafing, beach walking and well just down right being lazy. Our beach house was exactly what it was supposed to be, a Beach House. We were situated literally on the beach of Oregon where we watched the tides come in and out daily, thick fog lingering until 2 p.m. with the sound of the waves crashing amongst the gigantic rocks. It was definitely a Griswold vacation, without Uncle Eddie (although my dad comes pretty close) or a ugly wood paneled family truckster. We had fun, but we are glad to be home. More stories and pics to come.
