So for the past week I have been utterly exhausted. It feels like I got run over by a semi truck hauling dairy cows. I am getting plenty of sleep because Sonya sleeps through the night. For the past couple of weeks I have had dizzy spells and been getting light headed. Now I am getting headaches. I went to call my doc today to get some blood tests done to see what the scoop is but they are closed. I did some very reliable research (right) on the Internet and think that maybe I could be anemic or have something wrong with my thyroid? Both things can happen postpartum.
Today I walked around the lake with my mom and Sonya and told her about it. She got super worried and insisted that the solution was to eat more fattening foods because I was so skinny. So at lunch she made me get a French Dip. Which was absolutely fabulous, by the way. I don't like feeling like this, especially when I am with Sonya. Hopefully there will be an easy way to solve the problem.
In other news, we purchased an SUV this weekend. It is a Toyota Highlander. It will initially be for the hubbs to drive, but I think we will do the car swap before we know it because I currently drive a smaller Volvo sedan. It is getting more and more inconvenient with a baby in the back and stroller.
Okay, peace out.
My thyroid went wacky after birth, its pretty common.
ReplyDeleteThose are very nice cars. I have debated wanting one! :) I am sorry that you aren't feeling well. Definitely get in soon so you can figure out what is going on and get you all fixed up.
